Last call for the Perseids

Typically Jul 17 to Aug 24Back next year

The year's most dependable meteor shower peaked last week, but it doesn't switch off overnight. Stragglers keep falling through about the 24th. Give your eyes twenty minutes to adjust and be patient. Even past peak, Perseids are fast and bright, and the good ones leave a glowing trail.
